How we intend to earn commission

BuyMetric intends to use affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and then buy something, we may receive a commission from the retailer or brand. The commission is paid by them, and it does not increase the price you pay. Any commission would be received by Dylan Baldeo, trading as BuyMetric.

Where we are today

BuyMetric does not currently publish affiliate links, and it has not yet been approved to join any affiliate programme. Everything on this site is published for information. When we introduce affiliate links, we will update this page and label the pages that contain them.

Why commission does not decide what we say

• Affiliate relationships do not determine product rankings, comparisons or recommendations.
• We do not treat a commission rate as a reason to feature one product or retailer above another.
• Brands and retailers cannot pay to change what we say or how we rank.
• Our criteria for comparing products are explained in our methodology.

How we will label links

Where a page contains affiliate links, we will say so clearly near the start of the page, before the links, and not only in the footer. Where it is required, we will also mark affiliate links in a way that search engines understand. Where we publish on other platforms, such as social media, we will label promotional content as advertising in line with UK advertising rules.

Other commercial relationships

If we ever receive free products, payment, sponsorship or any other benefit connected to content, we will disclose it clearly where it applies. We will not present sponsored content as independent research.

What this means for you

You are never required to use our links. If you would rather not, you can go to a retailer’s site directly. If you spot something that looks like an undisclosed commercial relationship, please let us know.
